Golf Swing Lessons

As a coach I am a firm believer in teaching the individual, rather than a method or system.  I first became aware of Chuck Quinton and his Rotary Swing principles about 5 years ago.  I started working with what Chuck was advocating and saw an immediate improvement in my own game. What I love about the Rotary Swing,  is that it gives me as a coach, a set of biomechanical laws to work from, just as we have a set of ballistic laws to understand ball flight, and mechanical laws to understand the way the golf club works.  Every student is unique, but our joints and muscles are all designed to work the same way.  The challenge as a coach is to find the best way to help the individual feel the movement of their  golf swing,  to learn it, understand it and then to own it.

I'm excited and proud to have qualified as the first RST Certified Instructor outside of the Rotary Swing Organisation.  I have been a member of the RotarySwing.com site for over 4 years and have yet to find anything that comes close as a resource to help improve your golf.  I have seen a massive improvement in my own game since implementing founder Chuck Quinton's ideas.   As many of you know I play competitively almost every week in Pro Ams and mini tour events, and am playing the best, most enjoyable golf of my life at the moment.  I know RST works because I use it myself.

Rotary Swing founder Chuck Quinton says, "RST Certification is reserved for the very brightest and knowledgable instructors in the world. When you take a lesson from an RST Certified golf instructor, you are guaranteed to be working with the most extensively trained and tested golf instructors anywhere. To become RST Certified is not easy. The tests are very hard and the information that must be learned just to pass Level 1 requires on average 100 hours of study on swing mechanics, physics, anatomy, biomechanics, physiology and more. To gain Level 1 Certified status requires that the instructor complete an online test and score a minimum of 90%. The test has well over 100 multiple choice questions and must be completed in under 90 minutes. Once passed, the instructor has demonstrated that he or she has the knowledge and understanding about the golf swing that will far surpass anything available to anyone else in the golf instruction industry. From there, they can move on to the exponentially more challenging Level 2 certification, and finally, Master Instructor certification."

I have had so much fun helping my students learn the Rotary Swing and then RST principles over the past few years and seeing the improvement and the increased enjoyment they are getting from our great game.  Many of them are playing the best golf of their lives right now, and I am really excited about the plans Chuck has for the site in the coming months.   I am looking forward to learning and understanding even more about the golf swing and how we learn and acquire new skills and to helping people play even better.  If you would like more information, please get in touch or call 07976 401 545.
